At Kevin’s Legacy Foundation, every event is more than a date on the calendar — it’s a step toward healing, connection, and change. Each gathering is a reflection of our community’s commitment to mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Here’s how we come together:

Color for Kindness 5K Walk/Run

This is the main event and main source of funding hosted by Kevin's Legacy Foundation. With these funds we provide scholarships, synergy sponsorships, and work to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention for the Coulee Region.

Suicide Prevention Summit

Kevin's Legacy Foundation sponsors the Suicide Prevention Summit. The event allows community members to increase their understanding of suicide, its prevalence, and the risk factors for specific populations, and acquire tools for prevention, assessment, and intervention.

Mini Donut Half Marathon

Kevin's Legacy Foundation is a sponsor of the Mini Donut Half Marathon. It's a timed race that follows 13.1 miles of the area's most beautiful and scenic views. The race begins in Onalaska, WI and follows the Great River State Trail to the Historic Trempealeau Hotel in Trempealeau, WI. We also have a 5K Honor Walk/Run to honor and show appreciation for our loved ones, both living and passed, who have struggled with thoughts of suicide.
